At this stage, trainings are taken from a consulting company for the team. The team must first receive Environmental Management System basic training. The team will then receive internal training and practice training. After the trainings are completed, he comes to business planning. The installation steps of the system are removed and a timetable is created. Then, environmental laws, regulations and various official legislation should be examined and missing documents and permits must be completed.
At this point, the first review meeting is held with the senior management. In this meeting, the studies carried out so far are transferred to the top management and possible problems are discussed. Top management should be supported throughout the study. In the next stage, various documents such as business processes, application instructions and job descriptions begin to be prepared. After the documentation work is completed, all employees are informed and trained on the Environmental Management System.
After the Environmental Management System is ready, the system will be implemented in any unit to be selected. The first results are evaluated. Necessary corrections and improvements are made. Finally, the system is implemented in the whole organization.
As long as the Environmental Management System is implemented in the organization, the monitoring, supervision and improvement of the implementation should be continued. In order to do this, employees receiving internal audit training should perform internal audits in certain periods, make corrective and preventive actions when necessary and report the results to the senior management.
